Today 6 guys turned up to pick our Coconuts........these people are so strong.
If you look at the next pics. in this series you will see that their feet are encased in rope.
They jump up the tree, cut all the old fronds off and throw the Coconuts down.
It is an exacting task but they are so fast.
Our Harvest was 300 coconuts!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for this series Jenny. It was so interesting and tying their feet together makes so much sense but I never thought of that.
