The use of color in this photograph is rather exceptional. At the top left, you have a bright whites, which gradually fade as the view moves diagonally to the right, until the corner has a dark black. The picture ends with a dull column instead of black, which would have more nicely framed the corners to have balance and continuity in composition.
The lines are quite busy in the photograph, which in no way detracts from it. You have the single, well lit bar running perpendicular to the dozen-or-so hangers, which makes it unique and easily focused-on. You also have the (what appears to be) metal pipe at the bottom right, which is the white bar's antagonist. If these two bars were the focus of the photograph, it would give the view two easily comparable objects that would balance the photograph.
The branding in the bottom left detracts from the picture because that is where all the lines are coming together, which naturally is there the viewer will finish their attention. Although it will make the branding much more viewable, it covers the horizon point, which means the photo no longer has a central 'coming together' point.
Overall, excellent subject to take a picture of, and your use of the camera is superb. A few technical flaws, but I like where you were going with this picture.
Thank you for such an 'incisive' and very interesting (to me) Critique. Wish I could go back and take it again with this all in mind........absolutely correct in every way. Branding, is AWFUL! Thank you SO much for bothering to take the time to write this Critique, exactly what I need to get better. Hugs
