Peace and Reconciliation

It has taken me a long time to think what I can give to Sri Lanka......this is it.
For approx: 28yrs there has been A Civil War raging in this Country, which is now finished. Mostly all the 'people' I have spoken to obviously have many different opinions.
One thing I have learned, in my 64yrs, is that a simple 'sorry' on BOTH sides helps!
Let the Tamils come back and forgive and rebuild and join in to make Sri Lanka the Country I know it can be.
I am against the USA and other Country's bringing this up in Geneva (the main reason being, I think England and the USA have also committed 'Crimes against Humanity' with their involvement mainly in Iraq and the lies they told).
The 'people' here and this includes the Tamils  and Singhalese suffered AWFUL atrocities (by the LTTE AND the Sri Lankan Government) are mostly trying to get on with their lives.
Their is a lot of poverty, villages still have no electricity and safe drinking water yet we have a new 'Super Highway' which poor people cannot use because of the Tolls and cannot afford vehicles.
The trains are falling apart BUT they are a 'lifeline' for the poor........why were the Railways not fixed up first?
There are SO many problems, as with most Country's in the World.
Sri Lankan people are kind, generous and giving.
I love this Country.
