I have had SO many animals die......I think I am getting used to it BUT then when I found Paloma and fed her for ten days, then knew she would never fly or be able to sit on a perch, I took her to the vet and had her put to sleep.
I am happy knowing that I did my best for her.
Mistral my dog lay outside her door when she had gone and 'whined' for a day!
Animals get to me, before anything else in this world.
I sometimes think I am strange, because I can look at a film of orphans in China, not getting TOO upset. When an animal is in 'dire straits' I go ballistic!
there is a human there to save them or they will parish..
been precious to me..they can`t save or heal themselves from sickness or wombs..
How sad.
I miss her very much but my dog was VERY upset and wined outside her door for a whole day.
