More photos coming.............because of the way the women weave (they have an ebony piece of wood around their lower back)
sitting on the floor.
Girl children learn very early and it has been found out that because of the wood, they become sterile.
The village is dying out because of this!
This child will inevitably be starting to learn soon.

The place I live was famous because of the weaving in the past. We still have a few small weaving houses and children had to work also. And people saved their urine to wash the wool.

Tilburg in the Netherlands.
We are called kruikezeikers, that is pitcher pissers, so we pissed/urinated in pitchers and it was collected to wash the wool.

Urine has ammonia and I think it's used to degrease, just like we do today, though nowerdays we have bottles :rofl: Also we go to shops to buy. :lol:
