Jenny, the leaves look much like the Southern Magnolia but the Grandiflora is larger, as is its bloom. link:  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnolia…
I was not familiar with the ironwood but the pics are wonderful, as always! :heart:

You are so welcome! I have the flu and have been sidelined for several days. Extraordinarily cold here the last week. Wind chills under -15F. The flu is a real threat here right now. Hope spring is early! :heart:
